Another log planter on a Rainy June 1

We've had pretty nice garden weather...

not so good for haymaking..

so Farmer Mark had time to make another planter.

I love it..and like the other one will come into it's own as the season wears on.

I like our house in summer sitting in the middle of green growing things. 

 This is close-up of some pretty butterhead lettuce we are growing.

Yummy snow peas growing on the vine.  I like them steamed...and I

like them raw when I am working in the garden...or

later in a salad with some of that lovely butterhead lettuce.
