Three beans in the garden and a little Dill Seed

Some people grow heirloom tomatoes.
I am trying heirloom beans. There are tons to choose from.
People have been eating beans for a long time.
Beans are so easy to grow and seeds easy to save...and good to eat!
I started with Pole beans because they are so easy to pick.
Although the picture doesn't show it clearly, my first picture is of a cultivar called
Gold of Bacau. The vines are a beautiful yellow and the beans range from bright yellow to yellow green. Below is a sampling of a mulitcolor packet I bought, so I am not sure what cultivars were included. However this one is very sweet and tasty raw.

These are rattlesnake beans, I think. They are the sweetest tasting.

I have been harvesting my Blue CoCo beans. Yummy and beautiful.
I am also growing White half-runner. because some of my customers requested it last year.
I haven't really had a chance to think about it much.
However the beans are just a boring green.

Volunteer Dill plants in my garden have flowered and the seed is almost ready.
They have been just glorious.
I am so glad I allowed them to stay!
